House Rules
Homebrew/tweaked rules that apply to the whole game.
- If you level up, it has all the same effects as a long rest.
- Healing potions can be crafted using these rules.
Player Characters
Homebrew rules or items that apply to specific player characters.
Bjørn Sofiasson
- Whenever Bjørn goes into a rage, you must roll a d20. On a natural 1, he has the Frightened condition, but on a natural 20 you have advantage on the rest of your turn.
Locrian Tonas
- Stony Judgment: When used, the judgmental rock observes one target of your choosing within 120 feet that you can see and provides you with its cutting assessment. Roll a d20 to see how hot the tea is.
On a 20, it exposes all a target's weaknesses and you bypass AC to deal 1d4 piercing damage for every time you've used the rock per long rest; on a 1, its words cut you and you deal 1d4 to yourself for every time you've used the rock per long rest.
Kyramara Duchesnes
- When wielding Kyramara's knife, she can cast Detect Magic at will. The effect only lasts as long as she is holding the knife.
Ireena Petrova
- Every time you cast a spell, you must roll a d20. On either a 1 or 20, roll a d100 on the modified wild magic table.
In addition, on a 20, you briefly become an avatar of benevolent and controlled but truly unimaginable power, and the creature must make a WIS saving throw with your spell save DC or become frightened of you. On a 1, you are Overcome and you cannot speak, hear instructions, act, or move for a turn (out of combat, roll a d10 to see how many minutes).
Malte Volka
- Here are the rules related to lycanthropy that Malte is aware of, either because of lived experience or hearing it in stories. There are probably more, but you are continually learning them.
- You do not currently know of any way to cure lycanthropy other than to kill the creature responsible for your original curse.
